Photos By The Tree

So yesterday I decided to take Miss Bugs pictures by the tree. Well she was not at all interested. She put on her sunglasses probaly to help protect her eyes from the flash. I turned on blues clues to distract her.

Rocking Around The Christmas Tree

Today the weather was nice like in the 50's in Woodland Park. We went to Pike National Forest. With permits in hand Mr. J cut down three trees one for us, one for my parents and one for his family. Bug enjoyed her first family tree cutting experience. Once she found out you can eat snow she kept on doing that. We look forward to making this a family tradition.

Happy Halloween

Pumpkin Patch

In September we went to Happy Apple Farm and picked up apples. We also picked out some pumpkins. Bug enjoyed being picked up high in the trees to pick apples.

Day 2

So we got up and drove to Badlands National Park.
The next went to Wall Drug where we enjoyed lunch.






Then we headed to a hotel in Rapid City. That evening we went to a diner to eat then we for a swim. This trip Bug turned into a Daddy's girl and didnt want much to do with me.

I Need A Vaction... A Holiday In The Sun

So for our family vacation this summer we decided to go visit South Dakota since it was 8 1/2 hrs away. Well the first day we drove to Hot Springs,SD. We checked into our hotel and relaxed awhile. Then we went and visited the Mammoth Site. It was cool seeing the mammoth bones and thinking how they once walked the land. Then we went and picked up some dinner and went swimming. But it was an outdoor pool that was cold so we didnt last to long. Then we went on a walk on this pathway that ran along a stream.

The 4th of July Weekend

So on the evening July 4th we spent with Mr. J's brother Chris and his family. Then the next day we went to the South Platte River and went gold panning. We all had fun eating lunch and playing in the water.

June in Review

Happy 1st Birthday Miss Bug

Wow where has the time go. My baby turned one on May 3rd. We had her birthday party on the first lots of friends and family were able to make it for the party. We had a bbq. She was tired and took a half an hour nap the day of her party. But she was a trooper and stayed awake the whole time. She wore her first birthday onesie but refused to wear her tutu. She enjoyed hanging out with her friends and being held my family and friends. She wasnt that big of a fan of cake. She got alot of fun stuff mega blocks,bath toys,an outfit,hairbows, and snacks from Grandma and Grandpa Stevens.


















Bug had her 1 Year Well Child Check on May 5th. She weighed 16lbs 8oz and is 28 inches tall. The doctor says she is small and needs to gain some weight. So we are working on that. She still naps twice a day one two hour nap around 11 and an hour nap at 4. Bug loves eating cheerios. She enjoys playing with her toys and not toys and says "ball." She rolls to get places. She spins around on her butt. She likes walking holding on to our hands. She loves getting out of the house. Bug loves to be held.
